The key to win in fashion: three successful cases
What is the future of denim? This is an easy question to ask, but we have to imagine a wide-open answer. And this was one of the questions that fashion designers tried to answer during the latest edition of the GDA, and to this question the winner answered to our micro.
However, it seems that innovation mixed with ancient roots it’s always the right choice for fashion brands which take the best from the past in order to offer always brand new items. It happens for the “scissor brand”, Jason Denham – the Jeanmaker, who crafts the best jeans by using the best premium denim fabric. It happens for Nudie, the Swedish brand that makes its success thanks to the eco-friendly key and the eco-conscious approach, that is so in-vogue right now in fashion. And it happens for R13 with its luxury denim, leather, and tees. All these brands have their own core and strong point and years after years, which means collection after collection, they try both to innovate themselves and fashion in general. Someone achieves the mission, someone else is still fixed to its soul, maybe too much, as we can see in the most recent collections of R13: after the British Punk and the rebellious spirit of the U.S., what will we have to expect?
