Pizarro SA calls for talents

Waiting for Paulo Ribeiro Fashion Show Contest

Laundry, dye house, print house and finish house: these are only some of the services for which Pizarro SA is famous in the world. Making the difference through innovation: this is the reason why the Portuguese company is well known in its 34 years of history.
And the innovation is possible also thanks to new point of views, those of the young talented designers invited to join the Paulo Riberiro fashion show contest created in partnership with PRPS brand. Born as tribute to the first worker of the company, it was thought to give a boost to textile creation and to reach the need to think denim as cutting edge element. Not a mere trifle, isn’t it? With the creation of this event, Pizarro SA wants to break the gap between theory and practice in textile industry, more than give the chance to young talents to show their skills. The winner will be awarded with an international study program of 5 weeks. The program will be in charge of Donwan Harrel, designer and owner of PRPS brand, in collaboration with the University of VCU, Virginia, USA. After two weeks at the VCU and 2 weeks at PRPS, the winner will spend one week at Pizarro SA headquarters.
During the new edition of the concurso that will take place on March 31st, Pizarro SA will present the final stage of the international design contest, its new collection and the new showroom.
