Business, community and creativity from April 17-23
We are ready to come back home and leave for Amsterdam where from April 17 to 23 the Westergasfabriekterrein will host the fourth edition of the Amsterdam Denim Days.
The eyes of addicts, buyers, collectors and connoisseurs will be on the city of denim par excellence that will combine exhibitions, events, shows and workshops by turning itself into “the” hub for the global denim industry.
A real celebration of indigo in all its ways. This year, participation in Blueprint Festival is growing: Tommy Hilfiger Denim, Calvin Klein Jeans, Nudie Jeans Co., Lee, Kings of Indigo and Wrangler are only few of the brands’ names that have already signed on.
But Amsterdam Denim Days means business, community and creativity. In this week denim lovers shop for vintage and cutting-edge styles at the Denim Market, retailers and brands interact with denim lovers on a completely novel and unique level as comrades and members of the same community at Blueprint Festival.
Beside these appointments, we can’t forget the Kingpins Amsterdam sourcing show (the creators of Global Denim Awards), the business appointment for denim insiders based on a simple concept: connection, innovation, heritage and passion are the four pillars of denim industry.
Cherry on top, the Blueprint Festival. Topic of this edition is the Future of Denim, with the best innovations of the future under the same roof on April 21 and 22 at the Machinegebouw. More than demonstrations and lectures, each of the present brands will show its paths in terms of innovations and new technologies: from G-Star Raw to HACKED, then Karlijne Opmeer, Pauline van Dongen and House of Denim, just to name a few. Organic fibers and always new processes to create best items with less consumptions of energy and water represent a continuous challenge for denim brands, committed to a real mission.
