Exclusive guests at Tempel of Denim
A few weeks ago Victor and I were invited by Karl-Heinz to discuss the Tempel Of Denim idea in Berlin… We had to do something: Denim trends were so low… and the market was all about colors, prints, fluo stuff.
Awfull!! C’mon… Bread & Butter’s soul is blue and wrapped up in Denim. We all know that. So the Tempel Of Denim was born and you guys had too see Karl-Heinz face when he told us how he made this name up: TEMPELHOF – TEMPLE – TEMPEL OF DENIM. Smart! Love that! And we were just like kids in a new beautiful playground. The truth is that if the industry needs new vibartions and inspirations, well, Bread & Butter is the right place where to get them and the Bread & Butter people are the only ones who can make everything happen.
In the end the Tempel Of Denim was hosting a big variety of Denim brands, from the most authentic Japanese Jeans makers like MOMOTARO and 45rpm to the hand-crafted 3X1 project which took a full production line into the temple, the Tempel, sorry… From the California Original’s THE RISING SUN to our eco-friendly friends of K.O.I.. From the inspirations of DENHAM to the most exclusive collection of 7 For All Mankind. The whole Tempel was Blue, and that was the most important thing…
