The SS15 Collection
Karen & Ole Madsen had been working in the textile business for more than twenty years when they felt the need for doing something new. That was 1995 the year that the two Danish partners founded Gabba.
As you might have grasped they are truly dedicated to denim. Karen & Ole that they wanted to create an accessible brand. People should be able to find it in the shops, and they should be able to afford it. People should not be rich to be able to afford a Gabba item, without making it a cheap brand either.
Since then Gabba has maintained this philosophy. Mixing textile knowledge that had the principle of “luxury accessibilty”, while desigs dug deep into moods and reference from every culture.
Denmark is one of the most multicutural, integrated countries in europe. It has a rooted culture that yet opens widely to different mind set, this is why at Gabba designers are fond In a wide range of inspiration.
The new SS15 collection has naturally worn look, whether it’s a light, a dark, or even a raw pair of jeans to break in personally.
Graphics in the collection feature heritage motifs, hand painted abstracts and photo prints inspired by the urban landscape. Our color palette is toned down and slanted toward a darker scale. We have picked up tones of grays and blues and along with black and white we have added raw touches of rust and jade.
