A project of love
Our project is one of love; with a desire to maintain creativity as our number one priority. The brand, once our message, is set will grown on its own merits and not as a slave to the traditional business model as will build our brand loyalty “one customer at a time”.
We have not officially launched to retail our process takes time. 3-6-9-12 months to be exact, targeting a true denim connoisseur who will appreciate the process as well as the quality of recycled selvedge denim used for production. Like fine wine, the longer it’s ages price increases here is a breakdown of price points for ” ORIGINAL” and retail packaging details.
The GN therapy project will develop unique washes during the Eco-Aging process giving us an archive of washes that are totally geen totally original. After a period of 3-6-9-12 months GN Therapy will produce the second phase of GN therapy “R” or Replica washes much more lower in price yet totally keeping its originality but using only its archived washes as our standard. Each pair of GNs will be packaged in a custom wooden box made of recycled materials, wrapped in a burlap sack, along with a brush to dust off any additional elements, care instructions, a stock certificate of authenticity, A flask which contains elements from the burial location as well as a history page explaining the wash and location details. We are also Eco-Aging jackets and shirt and a few tees that represent each location as a part of the marketing movement. Pricing will vary.
Below you will find a link to our website as well as video footage that we have been documenting over the past 18 months, that gives a detailed blueprint of the brands direction. Each collection will produce of one-of-a-kind washes that are developed beneath the Earth’s surface as there will only be 12 pair/ distinct washes produced at a time per location. We currently have 3 locations that have been Eco-Aging since 2010/2011: The Mason Dixon, The Valley and the Mojave Desert. Dallas has been chosen for our first wash development location of 2012. Each location has been carefully chosen as a part of American History.
Mason-Dixon Line Wash: 39°72′ 37″ N; 76° 02’ 22.3” W
The line dividing the North and South, freedom and slavery during the1800s and American Civil War-era. Although simply a line of demarcation on a map, it is a part of one the most defining issues to shape U.S. society. It was through the backbreaking work of slaves that the cotton and the textile industry were built. With unstable weather conditions, from rain, humidity and snow; winter temperatures dropping below 30 degrees start the 1st stages of “wash” development, the cold temperatures not only allow the wash to “set” but it kills of any germs or bacteria, creating a natural Enzyme Wash effect.
The Valley Wash: 41° 06’86” N; 123° 29’ 52” W
In homage to the 49ers of the Gold Rush mining era, San Francisco, CA, is the inspiration behind the creation of denim gns. The legacy of the gold rush is substantial. It brought people from around the world who now form the multi-cultural nucleus of California that exists today as it awakened the idea of high-risk entrepreneurialism in America. The sandy conditions of the West Coast beaches, calm tempered conditions and salt water allow an organic, rustic “sand washed” rinse to develop naturally without using the blasting gun or the roller.
Mojave Desert Wash: 35°80’24″ N; 115° 27’ 12.1” W
Considered to be the one of the “Crown Jewels of the American West,” the Mojave Desert is known for its aridity, harsh conditions and haunting landscapes. But it is most renowned for its largest and most colorful city, Las Vegas. Just a few acres of dusty land in the middle of the Mojave Desert, Las Vegas is filled with the stories of risk takers from all walks of life — frontiersmen, gamblers, gangsters, scientists, soldiers, movie stars, businessmen and the average Joe in search of the American Dream. With two distinct temperature changes dropping below 20 degrees in the winter to almost an average of 120 degrees in the summer, the extreme changes result in a unique laundered wash.
Dallas Wash: 32° 50.03’89″N; 096° 45.923″W
The stars at night, are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas! Known as the Big “D” to most, Dallas, equally settled between the East and West coasts, where the weather is humid, hot and to storms, the Metro-plex has spawned, Cowboys, Cheerleaders, Mavericks, Rangers, JR & Sue Ellen, and an unfortunate piece of American History, The Kennedy Assassination, something we will never forget. The Texas heat and warm temperatures have given this wash a somewhat “western”, yet gradient effect.
