The Spanish company launches H2 Zero, a revolutionary technology to completely eliminate discharge in the textile industry
More and more brands are everyday committed in the creation of products keeping an eye on environment and trying to be as eco-friendly as possible in all the processes. Among them, there is Jeanologia. Since 1994, the aim of the Spanish company is to create an ethical, sustainable and eco-efficient industry through disruptive technology and know-how.
Recently, the company leader in the development of eco-efficient technology, has launched H2 Zero, a revolutionary technology allowing the complete elimination of discharge in the textile industry.
Impressive, isn’t it?
In order to celebrate its 25th anniversary this year, Jeanologia launched this new technology to contribute to the complete dehydration and detoxification of the textile industry. Furthermore, it will allow them to continue an annual growth of 50% for the next three years in its ecological income statement.
H2 Zero manages to eliminate the textile industry’s discharge, recycling the little water that it needs by using a combination of its jean production technologies. This tool has been successfully tried and tested by a few brands.
“2018 has been a record year during which we have become technological partners to big companies so that together we can make advances in changing the textile industry” said Enrique Silla, Jeanologia’s CEO. And that’s not all: in 2018 the company saved more than 10 million cubic meters of water (27% more than the previous year), the same as needed for the annual consumption of 600,000, according to the World Health Organization’s recommendations.
“Our objective isn’t to be the best in the world but to be the best for the world. To do so, we have given ourselves the objective of eliminating the use of water and total discharge in the world jean production within 5 years” Silla concluded.
