Another brick in the Garment Collecting initiative
Global, fashionable and eco-friendly. The new H&M women’s collection is already the talk of the town. Another season, another collection focused on environment. Once again, H&M creates a woman denim line in recycled cotton from the “Garment Collecting”, the project launched worldwide in 2013.
“We believe fashion is far too precious to end up in landfills. That is why in 2013, we launched our garment collecting initiative worldwide.
You can drop off your unwanted garments in all our H&M stores across the globe”, said the brand.
The new collection includes three jeans with different fits (skinny or straight), a jacket, one overalls and a zipped skirt.
“Since we launched our garment collecting initiative in 2013, we have gathered more than 32,000 tonnes of garments to give them a new life – that’s more fabric than in 100 million t-shirts”, they continue.
The collection will be sold on hm.com website only, starting from October 5th.
