Kojima and Jeans by Japan Blue
Japan means respecting the tradition, great culture, innovation and hard worker. But have you ever considered the efforts in doing such great things while living in an island? Take Japan Blue, masters in producing jeans with Japan’s limited resources to pass the Japanese tradition to the next generations.
With such valuable efforts, the brand initiated the idea to implement the Ethical Production project that combines Japanese traditional methods with the latest, innovative and sustainable technology to produce high-quality products.
Water, cotton and thread are the key points of the Ethical Production: the items are produced with the core of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), while the durability of denim is maintained even with new washing techniques and production materials. Environmental sustainability meets the local responsibility: the 100% Cote d’Ivoire high-quality cotton is “the most original/natural” cotton, pesticide-free, harvested by hand and not been bred by anyone else. Moreover, a portion of the sales of Cote d’Ivoire products is returned to the locals.
Soft texture, comfortability feeling, unique light texture, various natural dyes and details are the final results of this Ethical and laudable project.
