For conscious buyers, 5 lines for the incoming season
Quality items produced in a world-friendly way, an environmental-guided innovation in techniques, working conditions and fashion trends. And talking about trends, five are the lines of the new SS 18 collection: vintage inspiration, safari wave, dry denim, memorial suit and Wabash print.
From the high rise, wide leg and rich flare from the knee down of the ‘50s and the ‘70s, to the light-weighted and comfortable safari suits, loved for the big pockets and the iconic beige palette. While Dry Denim is like a blank canvas that allows to create personal imprint in the jeans, simply by wearing them (dry means the denims have never been washed and treated), the print of the season will be the Wabash, an iconic fabric with lines that look like stripes but in reality they are a series of dots printed close together, forming a line. A classic workwear detail just like the “memorial jacket”, the classic deck boat jacket-worn by sailors and soldiers in the WWII honored by KOI and made by hand at the head office in Amsterdam.
All the vintage denim pieces are made from a classic non-stretch denim fabric, while the cut of the denim becomes stronger in non-stretch as it doesn’t follow the lines of the body.
