#Berto4YoungTalents, a Made in Italy project
The strong belief in the beauty of exclusive projects created by skillful hands and the conviction that the future belongs to those who give the next generation know-how, creativity, beauty. From one hand Berto’s philosophy; on the other the core of the new project that the Italian company famous for its ancient craftsmanship (since 1887) has created. This is how #Berto4YoungTalents came out, in order to support, attract and retain the best young talents.
“The New Generations are our investment in the future, so we have decided to devote our know-how, historicity and creativity at the service of some interesting projects carried on by italian guys”, said the brand, that invested its time and trust in young emerging talents by offering their best fabrics. The results are 5 different collections created by 5 different designers who reinvented Berto’s refined textiles according to their way of being. There is the casualwear of From Owl, the Fifties inspiration of Design Around, the hand-worked leather of Kjøre Project, the unisex bow ties of Papillover and the Japanese mood of Studiopretzel.
The designers come from all over the world, but the roots of Made in Italy tradition and craftsmanship is so present both in these talents and Berto itself, as the brand explains: “Thinking about future, we are looking for a combination of innovation and human capital because Made in Italy is not just a matter of style, it is also (and in particular) the supply chain’s continuity, the respect for work and territory”. “Ours is a long history of textile wisdom and dedication to work: only with a gaze towards new generations we can pass on our cultural knowledge and know-how acquired over the years, reinterpreting it in new sectors”, Berto’s concludes, remembering that past and roots are crucial to create a better future.
