Timeless pieces for real Kings and Queens
While the world of fashion is taking inspiration from the Seventies, there is a brand that goes against the tide. The nostalgic of the 1980s would be happy to know that this decade and its marbled washes are back with Kings Of Indigo’s “Royal Core” fall-winter 2015 collection. The items created don’t follow any trends but become timeless, season after season.
As K.O.I. tradition always show, the process of making starts from the fiber and this collection is marked by innovation particularly, with the use of the Tencel fiber, commonly known as the “chameleon of fibers”, a revolutionary but natural fiber (made from wood pulp that is harvested from sustainable eucalyptus tree farms) able to solve the scarcity of cotton while adding comfort and style to garments. Soft, luxurious handfeel and natural stretch, it has been chosen for the creation of denim jeans but also for women’s apparel which ranges in jumpsuits and shirts.
With Royal Core collection, winter time becomes charming: real denim connoisseurs (or better Queens) can choose between tops, shirts and pencil skirts, but also cozy&stylish knits deserve a particular mention; luxurious fabrics and clean fits come together in the first line of K.O.I winter coats (don’t miss the classic camel coat made from recycled wool, with beautiful details on the inside).
A true love for indigo, different shades and weights of selvage denim form the collection. A special focus on innovation in wash and finish has been put on Kings of Laundry selection where abrasion patterns are created with laser and a stone wash effect with ozone (without water).
American classics are combined with a Japanese eye for detail: this is Royal Core collection where quality wear for the next era is right here.
