Citizens of Humanity FW15 Women Collection
Citizens of Humanity is not only about craftsmanship and quality. It is about people who create a culture that focuses on creativity and inspiration. We all know the story of Jerome Dahan and how he created his brand after over 25 years in denim industry and working for many different fashion houses: after Guess Jeans and 7 For All Mankind, from Paris he moved to Los Angeles where he discovered a new passion but most of all his talent for denim.
Talking about the SS 15 collection we said «Jerome Dahan loves what he does, and this comes to light in every collection».
Maybe you can think we are repetitive, but it stands out also in the new collection, the fall-winter 2015.
The new womenswear line embodies the famous balance between American craftsmanship – diamond point of the brand – and the passion for the Japanese best materials, such as softer fabrics and delicate washes. Mineral hues, slim fits and silhouettes for a strong elegant woman who gets inspiration from the Seventies: high-waisted flared jeans, mini-skirts, turtleneck sweaters, total denim looks, rock leather jackets, velvet and suede jackets, denim overalls in a dark wintery palette in the shades of black, grey, blue and navy denim. Everything calls to mind the 1970s, the decade historians have always portrayed as a “pivot of change” in world history.
